Enter the date you joined ERFC. The date you joined ERFC determines the plan benefit that will be calculated. If you terminated your employment with Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) and received a refund of your contributions from ERFC, use your reemployment date. If you did not receive a refund from ERFC, use your initial employment date.

Retirement Eligibility for ERFC 2001 (Membership date is 7/1/2001 or later): You may retire at age 60 with 5 or more years of service OR at any age if you have at least 30 years of service.

Retirement Eligibility for ERFC (Membership date is prior to 7/1/2001): You may retire with an "unreduced" benefit at age 55 with 25 or more years of service OR at age 65 with 5 or more years of service. You may retire with a "reduced" benefit at age 45 with 25 or more years of service OR at age 55 with 5 or more years of service.
